The Loch Tay Pipe Band was formerly called The
Lord of the Isles Pipe Band. In 2007, the
band purchased new uniforms with a matching
tartan and changed the name to match. All
of the members of the band are students of
"Bagpipes Anonymous-Our 11 step program to
bagpipe addiction" . Some came with musical backgrounds and
some did not. The program
is run by Pipe Major/Instructor Gary Guth.
The Band now meets on Wednesday nights at the
Ivyland Borough Hall in Ivyland, PA.
We offer free lessons in bagpipes and drums on
Wednesday night before practice. The only
thing you need is a desire to learn. The Band is available to play engagements
for you or your organization. We do
parades, grand openings, concert intermissions
and some competitions. |
