The Band was started as a result of the Neshaminy Adult Education Program. It is the second band to be formed as a result of this program. The first being the Bucks Caledonian Pipe Band of Washington Crossing. The program was started by Pipe Major/Instructor Gary Guth. The Band's first engagement was the Norwood, PA 4th of July Parade in 2002. Since then the Band has performed regularly at community events such as Newtown's "Welcome Day", "Northampton Day", Ivyland's "Peach Festival", both the Upper and Lower Southampton 4th of July Parades.
