For years, you've thought about playing the bagpipe. You've done internet research and talked to people who are knowledgeable about the instrument in some way or another. You might have even purchased a practice chanter.
So, how's it going so far? I work with numerous people over the age of 40 who bought their practice chanter in their 20’s thinking that they were going to teach themselves how to play. The best scenario for any student regardless of age is a private lesson on a weekly basis. Our jobs as teachers are to teach you how to practice this week. If you do what we teach you to do, you will make enough progress to be able to play the pipes in about 9 to 18 months.
There are a variety of ways to get started. If you would like to study with me, just email or call me at: 215-968-9542. If you are local, you can come to my Studio for instruction or if not we can work on SKYPE. I presently teach people all over the world on SKYPE. Its a great tool. If you are presently teaching your self and would like some time with me, I charge $30.00 for a 1/2 hour lesson and $50.00 for an hour lesson.
