Gary's Bagpiping Career.

Gary began his bagpipe career playing with the Helix High School Pipe band in 1972.  He then moved to the Los Angeles area where he played with a variety of Bands including the Caledonian Pipe Band, The Anderson Highlanders, The Lord of the Isles and The Los Angeles Police Pipe Band.  He competed heavily in the mid to late 70's and finished his competition career as a Grade 2 competitor.  After moving to The East Coast in 1980m, Gary played with the Ulster Scottish Pipe Band.

From 1983 to 1996, Gary was a very committed family man and shelved his piping Career.  Starting again in 1996, Gary opened Symphony Studios teaching Piano, voice and Bagpipes.  Today Bagpipes takes the lead billing in his studio.  He started the Bucks Caledonian Pipe Band in 1996, and the Lord of the Isles Pipe Band of Ivyland, in 2000. He is currently a full time bagpiper, playing weddings, funerals and special events.  He is also the Pipe Major and Instructor for that band as well.  Recently the "Lord of the Isles Pipe Band" became the "Loch Tay Pipe Band" as the band purchased matching uniforms wearing the Black & White Menzies Tartan.  Gary and the Band are available for your special event.
