Bagpipe Cases
I am a definite believer in investing in a good case for your bagpipes. Over the years, I have seen many people carry their bagpipe investment in flimsy cases and duffle bags. I bought a set of pipes back in 1978 for $800.00 and sold them 4 years ago for $2500.00. Bagpipes do appreciate in value as they are not superseded by new models. The wood and metal parts of the bagpipe are what appreciate in value. The accessories are disposable. A good case will protect your bagpipe investment for many years as will good judgment, like never leaving them anywhere you wouldn’t leave your dog.
We have a variety of cases to choose from. Starting at the top. The Pipe Tech Premium Case is a great case for a low price. As you can see by the different picture angles is is a very versitile case. Personally I think one of the great advantages of this case and the "Bagpiper Case" is the ability to put it under your Airplane Seat. The Hard Cases are great for storing your pipes and carrying them to band practice locally. I personally use the Regular Hard Case though I find it hard to travel on an Airplane. If you'd like to spend a little more the Band Pack Back Pack Case is a great investment as well and comes in a variety of colors. The Pipe Tech Cool Case is similar in style and options and is even priced the same.
The Bagpiper was designed specifically to take the Ross setup. This case even has enough room to carry your small pipes as well.
The lid has two zippered mesh pockets on the inside. There is a small pocket on one end, a cellphone pocket and a water-bottle pocket on the other end, and a large pocket on the front of the case running the full length and height of the case to carry your music and practice chanter. A truly great value.
