BagpipeBand.com is a subsidiary of Symphony Studios, Inc. Symphony Studios was founded in 1997 as a piano and voice studio. At that time, a few bagpipe students were on the roster. That same year, we started a "Bagpipes for Beginners" program in a local night school program and also initiated a "bagpiper for hire" business. As our students grew and wanted to buy pipes we started off selling Gibson Bagpipes. Today we specialize in the Dunfion Bagpipe but carry a host of other brands as well. In the 12 years that we have been in business, we have founded 2 pipe bands and bagpipes have overtaken the business.
Our business includes providing bagpipe performers and bands for various perfomances; sales of bagpipes, bagpipe equipment, kilt rentals and drums; and - most importantly - bagpipe education. We give both individual and group lessons in bagpipes and drums and offer materials to help the bagpiper improve his/her skills.
